KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FL ― January 29, 2018 ― Joi Scientific™ Inc., whose mission is to make clean and affordable hydrogen energy available to all, today appointed Stefan Sjöström to a newly created role of President International. He joins the company from Microsoft™ where he led public sector activities in Asia and Western Europe for the last eight years.
Stefan will be based in Singapore where he will manage Joi Scientific’s global expansion for Hydrogen 2.0™ technology into energy and public utilities, in both developed and developing countries. Hydrogen 2.0 technology enables the on-demand production of hydrogen from water for a broad range of industrial applications.

Most recently, Stefan served as Microsoft’s Vice President, Public Sector in Asia with responsibility for sales and market development activities for government, public safety, national security, healthcare and education across the region. In this role, he worked to empower leaders across the public sector by demonstrating how technology can be leveraged as a game changer.
Before he joined Microsoft in 2009, Stefan Sjöström was Managing Director and Vice President of Europe, Middle East, and Africa at Citrix Systems GmbH. During his seven-year tenure, he more than doubled the region’s revenue contribution and penetrated 95% of European Fortune 500 organizations.
